Motley puzzlers

After the last blog with its view of the countryside from a speeding train, we are a little less rushed this time. The first picture is of a building on the Northumbrian coast which I have not been able to identify yet. Is there anyone out there who is chancing to read this blog, who can? If there isn't I wonder how many imaginative guesses one could come up with?
I am just a little sad that the background isn't darker, then I could have passed this off as a rather fiercesome fly or cat in a rather dangerous mood. As it is, it is ...?
Agreed, these are not railway lines, but any guesses as to what is on show here?
Now was this really the spaceship that picture number two came from, or something less prosaic?

Well, at least they're different!

Berry- alternative pads..

What better way of greeting a long lost family member on her return from foreign shores...!
In the meantime, sleeping on the floor under the printer may have had its points, but sometimes a bit of height is enjoyable too. Especially with the radiator right below...!

Today from Hayes to Paddington

The title is correct, but Blogger is showing the pictures in the reverse order from what I wanted, so start from the bottom and work up.
