Scenes of the Heath part 2

This is the viaduct, a rather grand structure yet one which merely separates two ponds, the one on the other side being rather smaller than the one on this side.
This fellow was giving me 'the look'; maybe he wasn't at all sure if he should not be asking for appearance money. Anyway he just stood there without moving a muscle. Most obliging of him.
Malcolm's - or rather Smiley's - pavilion. Enlarging will reveal the gold pin and maybe the muddy grass.
This is taken with the sports facility as the fellow, or fellowess is running - demonstrable by noting the slightly blurry right leg.

Do you remember Jack Straw's Castle area? If you do, picture yourself getting off the bus just before it turns down to the right. Turn with yor back to the road and the Heath is before you with a paved road (official cycle path)running down to the left. Follow that as it goes down and goes past the northernmost point of the housing area called Vale of Health. You pass a small brick construction which was the Mansion's Ice House and soon you come to a pond divided into two by the viaduct. If you carry on along the track you will come to the area of grass on your left which is grandly called a sports field wherein stands the pavilion. If you wanted to approach it from your happy hunting grounds it would be as follows: Through the gate from Magdala Road direction into the Heath and straight up between the lakes. Continue to the right alongside the lake and, as you bear left and ignoring any roads that lead to the right you will eventually meet the aforementioned viaduct road, where the field and pavilion are on your left. I needed the map to write this so I hope it makes sense - presumably you can fillow it on a Google/Streetmap.
